hey mtgdeckbuilder! it's me brp here (for those of you that don't know, i refer to myself as brp :D) and i'm going to be writing this rather quick blog post about me having started my college life, and wanting to share it with all of you lovely people. for any of you who actually have enough spare time to look through my decks, i have quite a few and regulary update them.
the way that i use this site is not as some people do. others use the site for uploading a finished deck. i see this as a complete waste of the community here on this site! so what i do is i upload a deck with the very basic idea for instance say i wanted a sliver deck (i don't they are so over-used) i would make a deck with my initial thoughts of what i would like in the deck, then i publish the deck and then undergo weeks of refining trying to get the very best out of the deck in every possible aspect until i hit what i like to call the 'MTG WALL' this is where i want to get more out of a deck but can't quite think of what i can add to it. this is where the support of the community comes in to aid my deck building (rarely do they respond) and sometimes i overcome the wall by myself, but other times i do require the community to overcome this and that has often happened! however when i was new to the site i assumed that the way that you updated the deck was to make a copy and then delete the old one, so sadly most of the communities evidence of input has been lost to my own self incompetenace
anyway i do waffle on uncontrollably if you let me XD.
i have started college which will limit my frequency of updating and inventing. however i have had an idea of some decks, i uploaded one called 'infect goliaths' which is a deck i made when i got bored of my other (famous among my friends irl) rush infect decks, and wanted to make a heavy hitting one using reaper of sheoldred and the OP spinebiter. anougher one i have an idea for is going to be a typical green black deck, but need some help desciding whether to include hydras or wurms as the backbone
